I love to travel, ski, hike, eat healthy, cook and do it all with my fiance, Matt. Traveling has always been my number one passion; my dream job would be in finance at a travel company! We also love to cook and eat healthy as much as we can. About 85% of the time we eat a "clean diet" consisting of natural foods.
I grew up outside of Detroit with my parents and older brother. My parents still live in the house I grew up in and my brother lives in Chicago. My brother got married in May 2013, just a few months before Matt and I will tie the knot.
Matt and I met in 2007 at Miami of Ohio and have done a lot of long distance in the past 6 years. After we graduated in 2009, we both went on to work in finance, but in different cities. I moved to Columbus and Matt moved to Cleveland. Matt eventually went to work in Luxembourg for 10 months but I was so fortunate (and super lucky) to be put on a project in our European offices so I traveled to Western Europe 7 times that year.
Once Matt got back to Ohio in 2011, we decided the long distance needed to end so we both started looking for jobs in a new city. I moved to Denver in September 2011 and Matt moved five months later.
We got engaged on my 25th birthday and we're tying the knot September 6, 2013!
